Help needed finding antique remote!

Hi! I justed joined your forum specifically to see if there is an auto security guru out there who can help me.

I just bought a highly modified 1986 BMW 535is. She is a beaut BUT: she has a professionally installed "Clifford Sytem III" alarm system. I have the owner's manual and the installation manual but NO remote!

The first page in the owner's manual states: "CONGRATULATIONS! You now own one of the most reliable vehicle security systems available. In October 1986, Consumer Reports ranked the Clifford III as the top car security system tested..."

Anybody here know how to get/build/connive a replacement remote?

I received absolutely zero help from the Clifford Electronics website.

Thanks in advance,

Desperate in Arizona
