Hey guys. Im looking to get an aftermarket alarm system for my 2001 Mazda Protege (5spd). I dont want to spend too much money on one. Auto start isnt a main concern for me, I just want something that will scare the dirty thieves away in the event of a break in. Thanks guys!

 

Compustar has some reasonably affordable alarms that will do the trick.

i would avoid crimestopper.... mine was very reasonably priced and also very short life span. i have a viper now. heard good things for compustar
