So I have a Viper 791XV alarm that is 13 years old. The siren rarely works, does rarely lock when I hit the button, hood switch broke off, and remote is on its last leg. That being said, I would like to just replace the system entirely. I would love to not have to wire in an entirely new harness. I know DEI makes multiple brands and some of them are nearly identical like the Python remote that I programmed to my Viper system. The Viper system is still pricey so I want to see if there is a similar featured system to the Viper 791XV in one of the other less expensive DEI brands that will plug into the 791 harness?
