Hi,

I got a compustar with 2-way remote 2W900FMR installed on a bimmer with the keyless remote (press button ignition).

I'm trying to program the remote. To activate the programming mode, I'm supposed to turning the ignition on and off 5 times (between ACC and ON position) with the key within a 7 second period.

However, there's no key to turn with the keyless remote and I can't simulate the ACC-ON state changes. Does someone have similar experience and can help?

For those who are interested, here's the reply I got from compustar:

Drop the brain and jump the ignition wire to 12v 5 times.

 

Number One sound on College street has a programmer for compustar if you ever need to do more than just program the remotes, you still need to drop the brain in your case though. Its a little easier to program.
