I think it was done in order to level the playing field. To help the little guy who is tuning at home on a budget. To bring more followers into the game.
I gotta fess up, those who are responsible, say it was done "for the love of the sport".
I think I'm going to have a flag made up with that phrase... it's so catchy and applies to almost everything that has ever happened.

Listen, times change, happens.
The vendors have known about the changes you currently see. Some things had changed months ago around here to cause these changes to come in affect, more are still coming. I am happy and excited about some of the other stuff as well
Regardless of what you feel or say, or how myself and GTcars feels, the current setup is here to stay.
You have options but in the end if you can't be happy here or this place is just that horrible, you leave.
The current vendors have access to a vendors area, they knew the changes were coming as of 11-23-2007 .
The addition of the Car Stereo Market Place is not intrusive. You can manually remove it from your search options here and it has been hard coded to not show up on the new posts. It's even been left at the bottom.
If you're here to cause problems, you will just be banned, you know how things operate here. If you disapprove, put it in an email or pm. All threads will be censored, locked, deleted when staff runs across them.
The vendors still exist, they still sell great products, offer amazing services. I would personally never buy a system from eBay because i believe in the knowledge a vendor brings to the table. For myself, its worth it to pay that extra. However, for others, eBay is the way.
