I thought the same thing about the new site, and I almost packed it in but after talking to Rick he made it clear although he wants to increase traffic to the site hes made it clear to me that he has no intention to change the integrity and direction of the site or turn the site into something thats like a Sounddomain. I think that the site will keep most of its integrity as long as the members stay around, but just because the site has changed doesnt mean the members we already have and the content will.

Although the change is drastic and will take some getting used to I dont think we have much to worry about, remember the site is what we make of it...so why not give it the benifit of the doubt and give the new look and new owners a chance.

Ive been around this site longer then 90% of the users here and im willing to give the new owners a shot, why not give them more than a week.

The whole point of CCA was a car audio community. Much like a local bar, somedays you'll get into a fight and the next day everything is peechy. A lot of the members know each other personally and use this basically instead of their MSN.

If you're looking to improve traffic please don't invite a bunch of New Yorkers into our "bar." Promote among the canadian communities and I hope that you succeed because it's nice to see more people entering competitions and getting the feel for this hobby.

For the past three months everyone is disapearing...lurking...or just not coming back.The only ones left are newbies and a few vets.It hard for the new guys to post because they get attacked.It just seems to me everyone is losing interest...mabey the young guys dont know enough....and the old guys are just getting old!

I think it's a little too early to pass judgement on the new site. Give it a month or so and see what happens. Sure looks purdy though

I dont know why some people are leaving, lots have just drifted away from car audio and there is nothing we can do about that, nothing has changed in the way we mod the forums if anything the mods have become more laid back if we had hammered people like Yuli, defro, bubba etc good and proper from day 1 then we would be ***** but the board would be the same as ever.

We can't win that one - either the board is "full of crap" or it is "over-censored". IMO the people that bitch the board is going downhill are the ones dragging it down. I wont mention who but if you dosome reading around the site you can figure it out pretty easy, its a domino effect one person doesnt like it soon someone else doesnt then so on and so on....nothing you can do either people accept it or they dont.

I know a few that you are probable referring to. IMO if a person feels the need to back out and not attend anymore then good riddance - they most likely didn't contribute worth a anyway.

I have said it before and will now: The people that say a site is hitting the ******* are the ones with their hands on the handle. Contribute, shut up, or **** off. Your choice.

I am well sick and tired of trying to accomodate the whiners that think we over-censor and also not have this place turn into SoundDomain.

Well, now that I offended all of the "few members we have left" I'm gonna go finish my Flakes Feedback is unnecessary.
