Hey guys, thought I would provide a little insight as to my resigning as admin/mod.
As I said in my original post, the reason for me leaving was more of a personal decision rather than the change of ownership. The only reason I really came on to the board was to police it. I have been out of the car audio game for a while now that my contributions were not very benificial to the board. Even thought I have been apart of the board since day 1, things change. I don't want to dedicate my time to somthing when my heart isn't in it anymore. Its not fair to the new owner or me.
I don't see alot of people leaving, including me. I will still be lurking and probably post once in a blue moon, but thats probably all.
Again, I wish Rick all the best with the site and I hope he achieves his personal goals with it and I hope it provides him the amount of fun that it did for me.

Rick, thanks.

Fat Whaker, you seemed to enjoy trying to scare me as if your heart was into that 100%.

Dont mix up new ownership or the new look of the site with what im saying.I could have posted this months ago and mabey had less reaction. There is just the same threads and same few people posting.Yes its February and everyone should have more time to post and b/s.I like the new look and am happy to see the new owner so involved. However I feel the site has been losing alot of active members, and mabey the new format will bring them back.As for Yuli and Defro...you need guys like that on here,to stir stuff up and keep it flowing. So please guys dont take offence in what I say....it was just a concern!

Quality content makes the site more valuable than anything. And i want Car Audio quality content. I want mods who are in the scene and knowledgeable. I don’t mind the bs here and there, but at some point it gets old.

You only need to voice your opinion once, most people get the idea right away.

I am 100% for new members who stick around and post, and do their thing.. Im not going to turn them away or let a few people bash them until they decide to leave.

I have a certain amount of patience and once I get tired of the whining, ill just can a couple people that are the cancer. Its one thing to make your point once, but being repetitive, starting new threads or chiming in EVERY time gets old quick.

I think some people are complaining about a pro active move. Wade told me himself he had little to no time invested in the last year, so now you got myself and my partner. People got new vbulletin, new server, new graphics and even a BIGGER maple leaf in the banner. With every 15 newbs comes 1 top dog competitor, industry person or whatever… that’s how forums operate. But if youre looking for something to cry about im sure youll find it.

Sometimes you need to cut your losses and move on. Maybe this is the point where some of you say “cca isn’t working for me, time to go play on icq”.

Let the site fade, leave if you like. Its not your money, save your time, back up your bags and go, that really how this works.

Again, feel free to PM me if you have some concerns.
