a little update on what ive been doing to the car... thought id dig up an old thread to save space from making a new one.
tyler, a friend of mine works at my local walmart and knowing that i was so into my audio system he wandered over to that section of his store. lol he didnt know what i meant by getting a full component system so he though i just meant a tweeter.
So! i got a very late but much appreciated birthday present haha. this is the set that came out on the shelves not too long ago i think for 'dual' tweeters with in line crossovers. these babies do 25rms and have a blue accent light around the outside lol.
heres pictures of the mock up, i had to show him i put them in lol but i havent wired them up yet as i didnt have time to finish it up. last time he got me something i was so happy because i needed speaker wires but i dont want my car to be a walmart demo vehicle

i need to cut down the screws a bit because they are making my driver side tweeter lean forward and down.
i have the tweeters swiveled to point at the pillers beside the seats and a bit up.
i had to add a kill switch too for when the father figure needs the car for the space.
i know not the best install job for the tweeters, but i kinda got excited too haha. should i have put them else where? i am still planning on getting a component set from Rob later on though.
