94 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Steering Wheel Control

I am looking to purchase a new HU and the one I'm interested in (Eclipse CD7200mkii) has Steering Wheel control built in.

Apparently it is compatable with voltage detection-type steering wheel controls.

Is anyone framiliar with these controls and are they compatible with the Eclipse system?

Thanks in advance.

You need the PAC SWIECL2 to interface between the vehicle and the cd player. I have both in stock right now.

If I understood you correctly, you must have had a pre 1994 model. They changed the whole interior and electrical system in '94. They simplified everything and removed probably half of the pointless controls that just broke all the time.

The 94-96 controlls are very close to the 97-03 GP's.
