Blown Amp or Blown woofer?
Hey guys,
I just installed an amp a small Pioneer GM 300T. I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 100 hooked up to it. Was working fine but I have noticed now that my Woofer has stopped working. All connections are solid as the Amp is powering on when I have the ignition to full, the blue light on the amp is turning on as well.
There is no sound coming from the woofer but I can hear tiny pop, pop, pop continuously coming from the woofer. The woofer is brand new as of last summer and wasnt used for a good few month over winter till I put it in last week.
I do notice my interior light slightly dim with the pops. including my headlights. Very slight dim that is as well. Is there something busted on this amp or you think my woofer is fried?
I barely crank my woofer which is a 12" RF. everything else works fine for my interior speakers and head unit.
ideas?

Just installed a used Alpine MRP-M350 Mono running at 200W RMX x1. My Woofer is a Punch 100 running at 150W RMS. I set the Voltage on the Amp gain using Ohm's law to 28.28Vs.
I was wondering I have a HPF on my Deck as well as a LPF where the LPF goes lowest to 80hz.
How should I set up my sound if the door speakers are running off the deck power?
After this is all set, can I use the Sony Xplod feature, Loudness etc? or is that not even needed? It even has this DSO (levels 1 and 2) which I never use anyway.
Thanks
