Board Repair

I am looking for someone out there with the ability to repair circuit boards.
GTA/Durham preferably.

this is for the board of an Alpine headunit.
a transistor? fried on the RCA out in the head and burnt a bit of the epoxy layer. Head unit functions and navigates fine on everything but CD.

anyone with the knowledge or knows of someone that can fix this, let me know please!!!
looking to get this fixed asap.

thanks!

Didn't you had the 9965 fixed for 50$? Or it didn't last?

never got it fixed. got it looked at, told what was wrong, picked up the McIntosh....and its been just sitting forgotten since.

I want to get it fixed now though.

alpine has never made their boards available though apparently, and a new transistor (i think thats what i was told) can't simply just be put on. so i need to find some kind of specialist! just browsing online, it looks like the board repair can be done...i just need to find someone to do it.

if you can read the writing on the transistor it should be replaceable. If you can't you'll have to find a working one to get the info off of it.

the transitor isn't the main issue, it does need to be replaced though. the main problem is the board repair, it got burnt when the transistor fried.

You also need to figure out why it burnt in the first place...

it was an older alpine amp...something went wrong with it and it sent power back through the RCA's into the unit.
