Board Repair
#11
I am looking for someone out there with the ability to repair circuit boards.
GTA/Durham preferably.
this is for the board of an Alpine headunit.
a transistor? fried on the RCA out in the head and burnt a bit of the epoxy layer. Head unit functions and navigates fine on everything but CD.
anyone with the knowledge or knows of someone that can fix this, let me know please!!!
looking to get this fixed asap.
thanks!

what alpine model is it? if it is an older one you maybe able to get a used one cheap... to use or for parts

it can be fixed!
it will take a couple of days to get the parts in and whatnot, but the alpine will be back to like new condition soon enough!
SS electronics are my new best friends if that is the case

Hey I guess S&S is still around? Their website appears to be down. I'll call em at lunch.
How much is a typical repair, approximately?
Jensen wants me to send my deck down to North carolina for repair with an included cheque of $59usd + shipping. Bah!
