CAR audio

So here is the run down.

Amp - crown Com-Tech 410

Speaker - 400 Watt 12inch

1000 watt power inverter.

So here is what I want to do, I have a 2001 jeep tj, and I love the system it has in it, so I am leaving the stock system in it, all expect the deck. So the speaker will be in the truck as well as the inverter and the amp will be under the rear seat.

So in the car there is the stock sub and the new one. Each one will have a switch on or off, so I can pick between the two, or have them both on.

The problem that I need to figure out would be I need to some how get a clip light, and a volume **** just for the new sub.

My idea for the volume **** is just have a split from the sub out to a volume **** then to the amp.

Could that work ?? and let me know about the clip light =D

Thanks

Telnet.
