Component Rear, Coaxial Front ?

Component Rear, Coaxial Front ?
Would this give the same results as the normal Component Front, Coaxial Rear?
I don't have a good spot for the tweeter in the front and was thinking about just installing it in the rear.
For those wondering what i'm installing it in, it's a 95 Honda Del Sol.
FRONT
REAR
Minus the roll cage.
i was thinking of putting it on the long panel on the back just over the shoulder in the driver and passenger seats.
Thoughts?
Thanks,

The Del Sol interior is tiny, you will only hear the rear speakers if you choose to go with components in the rear.
Personally, its quite possibly one of the worst ideas I've seen in a while.
Forget about the rear speakers and just do components up front. Unless you like the sound of music behind you...
Tweeter pods, look them up, they will work perfectly for you as the Del Sol doesn't have very good placement for the tweeter due to its lack of sail panel.
You can also check out "braxial" components which are like coaxials but have the tweeter in a different spot:http://www.cdtaudio.com/braxials.htm
Perfect for people who don't want the work of a separate tweeter but want the quality of components.

A small piece of radio strapping easily holds a tweeter in front of the midrange driver, even behind narrow stock door panels/grilles. Sandwich the strapping between one of the midrange mounting holes and a small washer around the mounting screw. TA-DA! (you then bend & twist it to avoid the mid's surround...)
If you really want to go coaxes in front, go coax in the rear or better yet, just mids without tweets in the rear so the image doesn't get pulled too far back. OR, forget the rear fill.

I see lot's of great tweeter space in the best tweeter spot of all: those A-pillars of yours.
Seriously, get just a set of components for the front, disconnect the rear-fill (they just screw up your front image anyway), put the midbass in the door speaker position (or better yet build some kickpannels), then throw the tweeter in the a-pillar.
Here's some google images to help you imagine the project: https://www.google.com/search?q=a-pi...bGPKLliALvtulj

Components up front, nothing in the rear. Rear fill isn't necessary, especially in a car that is that small. Spend the money for the front stage, which is the most important, and all it a day. Run active if you feel up to doing the extra work and you'll be pleased with the outcome.
