dimming of the lights = annoying!!

i can try a second ground off the alt. not really sure if it'll make that big of a difference though. my engine is grounded to the batt already...i tried to get down to it, to change that ground but man its a tight squeeze, and i don't have a wrench that long to go down and reach it properly...
i've never actually heard of re-winding the alt.'s to get more amperage out of it?? haha....and i don't believe a diesel one will work...its a horribly tight fight on these 3.1's to get the alternator i already have in there....oh and as for the second battery, they have battery isolators....so the alt only charges one battery at a time. when it charges, it switches over to the other battery, etc... doesn't charge both at the same time...

oh..the cap i have, reads voltage and amperage, thats how i got the 106 amps....i would be finding the same thing out of i had an amp meter, cap just does the work for me (whether its accurate or not....)
