Unhappy Dodge Viper problems

I own a Dodge viper, and I'm trying to install a stereo system into it. However... the factory wires that are in the vehicle, are a bit odd. Here's the pinout:

1. Front Right
2. Front Left
3. Front Ground
4. Rear Right
5. Rear Left
6. Rear Ground

As you can see, both front speakers share the same ground, as do the rear speakers. Now... I want to be able to use my factory wires, as I do NOT want to splice into them, at all. That being said, is there a way I can make this work? I talked to one stereo guy, and he said if I hook an aftermarket deck up to these speakers in this way, it WILL blow the deck. Is this true?

Let me know, thanks!!!

You need a harness, ask Canadian Tire. It's just a clip that has different connectors for ____ deck. If you go to a shop, it's $140 (maybe, or atleast for a Sunfire it was), or it could be $20 at Canadian Tire.

Trust me when I say, there is >NO< harness available for the viper. At all. At least not for the 2001 anyways. Either way, I was just wondering if I hook up my aftermarket to speakers that share the same ground, if that will or will not blow my unit.

Thanks.

Yeah, that ain't happening.

I want my car in mint condition when I go to re-sell. that being said, I'm not ripping it apart. I'm thinking I might just buy a cheapy deck, and see if it does "blow" it up when I hook it up like this. Seems how no one really knows the answer.

My old ford was like that, all speakers shared the same ground, I hooked all positives to the speaker wires available and hooked the negatives to ground. Worked for that deck.

Yeah not many people have Vipers so the demand is pretty weak but still you can't have a nice car and stereo also? That's BS.
