if i would have a viper just to appretiate the value... i woudnt drive it, and it would be stored away at all times. AND there would be no aftermarket stereo installed either.

BTW im sure that if you have a great system install in the car BY a pro with waranty and insurances and you resell the car with the aftermarket stereo, they wont mind it.

stock radio sux even on an exotic car soooo screw the stock crap get a good system installed and when you resell SELL IT WITH IT

Man, this thread is giving me some laughs. Dude, you put a harness in for a HU and run aftermarket wires for speakers, it's not going to depreciate value. Seriously, wtf is a potential buyer going to do, take out the HU and the door panels to see if you're running stock wires or aftermarket? I don't see how upgrading your audio system to something a little better than stock is going to hurt you. Take it to a reputable shop and have them install it, the guys keep repeating but you don't want to seem to listen. We're not telling you this for ***** and giggles, we're reccomending it because it's the best route for you to take. So you had a bad experience with a shop? Do some research and find a better one.
