Dodge Viper problems
The wires that go to the trunk are hooked up to an amp.... can all RCA's have the same ground? meaning, if I were to switch the wires that currently go to the amp in the trunk, to RCA, could I have them all share the same ground without problems?
AGAIN
go take it to a Unique Visions in Concord!

Not to mention, I work from 9 till 8 at night every day, including saturdays. And if I can't do the factory wires, I'd rather not do it at all. The only quesiton I need answered, is whether or not using the same ground for two speakers is ok or not. if I switch to RCA, or leave it as is.
lol, nah, I've installed plenty of audio systems before. I >could< put it in my car, by splicing into the factory wires, however, when I go to put the stock stereo back in when I go to sell the car, I want it in MINT condition. Having wires all hacked up, and not >perfect< is not mint.
Does ANYONE know if RCA's can share the same ground \ or two speakers on an aftermarket deck?

well, your problem is that it's a Viper. If i was you I'd go and trade it in for a civic or a corolla. You might have to put in some cash towards the trade in as well but at least those cars are easy to do a stereo in. Good on gas too and can sit 4.
you'll never see a honda appreciate in value. But I think i'm going to try to wire it up just like the factory does their original stereo, if it doens't work, it doens't work.
curious whay are you going to all this and your saying " i would like to keep it mint "
and your doing all the work, then saying you want to put a cheepoy deck in there. seriously you need to give your head a shake. take it to a reputable shop and have them look at it, if you dont trst them dont take it to that shop.... do some research and see who the luxury automotive shops use. but dont try this your self you clearly dont have a clue . Just my 2 cents

Why risk blowing my amazing unit, without anymore warranty, when I can try a shitty *** one, that if I blow it, it doens't even matter, because it's only worth $90?? Obviously you're head needs the shaking. I'm not here to pick fights; I thought these forums were for help. If I wanted to pick a fight, I'd join some kids forum.
Now, the reason I want to keep it "mint" ? Because WHEN I go to re-sell this vehicle... people who buy these cars, WANT stock EVERYTHING. If they find out that I had someone re-wire ... it kinda kills the resale value... especially in a car like this.
Worst case scenerio?? This whole idea doesn't work at all, and I put the factory stereo back in, and listen to the engine sound rather than the stereo like I have been doing all along anyway! Much better than some trying to sing on the radio.
Thanks.
