because you don't use the rears allows you to do timing alignment. The deck can do timing alignment for 4 speakers. Last I counted components have 4 speakers; tweeterx2 midbassx2.
Use the front channel for the tweeters, the rear channel for the midbass. Now you can use timing alignment for all 4 speakers from your pair of components.
If you don't know already, you'll need either: Active crossovers, or a passive one that has separate in/output for the tweeter and mid. Also an amp that has 4 channels, each driving a different tweeter and midbass. A mic wont magically make this work. I think you should do some more reading, or try to be clear on what your problem is/what your setup is.
I believe he understands this and you're over-complicating this.

Actually he is mostly right, I've just never seen it done before. I have a 4-channel amp but its use for my fronts and a woofer.

Right now it seems time alignment isn't possible, Although I don't know what I am missing BECAUSE I'VE NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE!

I cannot believe you don't READ the manual, it has the ability to T/A all 4 speakers, it can account for the car type and tweeter placement. JUST READ...stop thinking, just do it. The mic you are looking for is called a MCI-100 and can be found on line for $20.00!

BTW the part number is in the manual, also why not call Eclipse tech support?

Plain and simple you cant use timing alignment the way want to. The mic wont do anything for you, that you can't already do. You can do timing alignment for each component (the pair, tweeter + woofer) for the left and right. This will make it so it sounds like the sound is coming from the center of the dash

I get the idea here.

Would the mid/tweeter be connected directly to the amp and then use the crossovers on the amp?

exactly. But the amp needs to have crossovers that go high enough. high pass filter at the 2.5K range.

unfortunately it wont work for active. The highpass only goes up to 350. this would destroy tweeters. although in theory you could run the mids straight off of the amp full range and run the other channels of the amp into the crossovers and to the tweeters.

Ah ok, Thanks for the help dude!

I was messing around with time alignment last night just to hear the differences, I turned the front left to -0.6ms. Now it seems more like "Stereo" Rather than hearing the left side first.

I don't know if I just got lucky or what, But where it's at right now sounds like a home stereo...
