Why do you have many items of your system in cooked status.
Are you just buying blown items and the hopefully able to fix them.?
I don't understand.
I guess there is a market for that yet I have and will never buy anything
fried not even worked or repaired for that matter.
I dont' think it's a good idea to spend good money on stuff that needs repair.
just my 2 cents.
Don't take it the wrong way if you can get something at a steal and fix it yourself then all the power to you.....

well if you need anything i have many items amps etc....all price ranges yet all old school.
Did the repair shop take a look at it and give you an estimate to repair it? Did you decline the estimate or what?
Most of the time it is the output power transistors that are blown. The parts are quite cheap but depending on the amp layout and how much you must remove to get to the transistors, the labour may be high.
So you say you have some electronics experience? Do you have access to a a sine generator (could be simply downloaded software to generate a tone and output from your pc or burn to cd), Voltmeter, scope? If so you should be able to confirm. As for parts, I find electrosonic a good source.
Have fun!
