Question Installing Pioneer DEH-P4900IB

Well i have 2 questions here (thx for answering )

1 - Can someone confirm what are the wires that can be found at the back of the cd player. (i want to know if there is a orange/white wire or not)

2 - Why does my stereo loses all memory (time, date and config) when i turn my car off ? (I just removed my old pioneer and installed it the same way but i lose all my config)

Thx

Yellow = Battery (Memory)
Red = Acc (Switched Power)
Black = Ground
White = Left Front +
White/Black = Left Front -
Grey = Right Front +
Grey/Black = Right Front -
Green = Left Rear +
Green/Black = Left Rear -
Purple = Right Rear +
Purple/Black = Right Rear -

I cant remember if there is an Orange/White on that deck or not, either way its only for the illumination, so it has nothing to do with the memory loss.
Check the fuse(s) for the radio memory.

The problem is that i bought that cd player that was a "demo" from Canadian tire (yeah i know, but hey it was a nice deal) and there is a "Dimmer" option on the deck but there is no Orange or Orange/White wire for the dimmer. So i'm just wondering if they rip it or it's no there... i'm just confused.

There is an orange/white wire. I have the wiring diagram for that deck right in front of because I just put one in for somebody. All that wire does is give you the option for the deck to dim when the headlights are on so it is not so bright at night. This setting is optional however in the deck initial setup. Make sure that the yellow wire is receiving a constant 12V with the key on or off, that is your memory wire.

Yeah well i went to CT and looked at the wires on a 5900 and i've noticed that they were all the same as mine except the orange/white one. I took the one from my old stereo wiring and put it in the hole and VOILA ! i have now a dimmer fonction ! Damn you CT for making me lose my time ! Anyways as for the 12V problem.... it is now working... dont ask me why the only thing i've done is recheck my soldering and put the deck back in place and now all my settings are ok. Could be that the connection at the back came loose or something.

Thx for all the response guys.
