hi guys
just trying to decide which deck i should invest in
i like the clean simple look of the 880, but the 780 has color and customizable screens
i think most of the functions on both are identical almost and in price as well, except for looks

by the way, does anyone know what "PRS" and "MP" stand for?

Specs look very similar but i love the dual **** over single **** any day... much easier to control (imho) and they dont feel as cheap.
I'd go 880 for sure....

PRS - Performance Reference Standard

MP - I've worked far too many hours today but as I recall from my foggy memory at the moment the MP is a basic model designation to indicate the unit is MP3 compatible.

And I put my order in for a 880PRS last week

I ordered a 880prs. Seems like a solid unit. Haven't had a chance to install it yet due to craptacular weather, but its looking to break for spring so I should be getting it in my vehicle in the next couple weeks.
