Question New Truck Problem

Hello to all first time visiting the site and have a question. Well two actually, I own a Sound stream Tarantula TRA1400.2 2-Ch Amplifier that has the following setups.
2 x 350W RMS @ 4 Ohms
2 x 700W RMS @ 2 Ohms
1 x 1400W RMS @ 4 Ohms Bridged
I also own two KICKER CVR124 12" 800W DVC CVR at 4 ohms and 400rms

What would be the best wiring configuration to use? Are they 4 ohms per coil? and last but not least. The custom boxes available are about .6 cubic feet and the rating on these is 1.6 on a sealed closure. Except no one makes a bigger box for a 2005 1500 quad cab. Will this dampen the subs a lot? Thanks a bunch guys.

The Kicker website recommends a minimum sealed enclosure of 1.0 CF. They would likely work, although not quite as well in a .6 CF box with some insulation packed in them to "fool" the drivers into thinking that they are in bigger box.

Well your amp makes the same power at 2ohms stereo as it does at 4ohms mono, so in that case you may as well run it at the 2ohms stereo. Wire both coils of a sub in parallel to one amp channel then repeat with the other sub to the other amp channel, done. Keep your amp gain low though or you will french fry those subs.

If they are dual 4 ohm voice coils, then wire each sub series, then parallel in your box.

If he wires each sub in series and runs the amp 2 channel it will see an 8ohm load on each channel, or a 4ohm load if the amp is bridged mono. Subs wired in parallel and ran 2 channel at the amp, each channel will see a 2 ohm load (as shown in your diagram). The amp makes the same power for the last two configurations.
