has anyone had experience with these amps not turning on properly?? mine has worked fine. but i go and turn it on today and it just drops my voltage straight down and holds it there. then when i shut it off the subs pop and my voltage goes back up...it isent playign music or anything the subs dont move..it just takes the full pull of power...any ideas?

get a multi meter out and get the exact voltage at the amp, at the battery, at the remote turn on lead and last but not least check your ground. Unfortunately your not giving too much detail. When you turn the system on is the amp turning on? you said "not turning on properly" an amp either turns on or it doesn't turn on.

I read they may not turn on if they don't see a full 14.4V? (that could figure into the testing with the post above)

in my honest oppinion , i think its due to you only having a couple batterys , the recomended amount for the warhorse is 10 batterys so perhaps thats the problem , just sucks the juice , that or your batterys are starting to go south

With a big amp you should always get your remote power directly from the battery and run a relay to switch it on. Some of the big amps suck a fair amount of currenty through the remote wire.

Just another thing to check. Its probably the amp itself though.

Your batts are fine. You can run that amp no problem on two good big batts.
