hey guys, Ive finally decided that my stock speakers arent good enough.
I was thinking about picking up the alpine type-x pro speakers for the front and type-r for the rear. Any suggestions on what people think about this speakers? Also, what amp should i be using to power these suckers up?
Any suggestions would be appreciated..

 

Tell us more about your goals for the system, the vehicle etc. There was a thread here last week or so that a fellow was torturing the Alpine X speakers, blew 3 tweeters or mids I think it was. Lets ensure that what you want to do you get the best options available.

 

I have a 2006 nissan 350z, planning on putting 2 10" alpine type x subs(not sure of which amp to use)and Alpine type-x pro component speakers with type-r speakers in the back. I want as loud and clear as it gets. Which amps would you suggest and are there any better speakers that you know of?

Morel for top notch tonal response provided you give them the install they deserve. ARC for amplifiers and if you are trying to get stupid loud, Digital Designs for subs you should short list. Morel Loudspeakers DDAudio Digital Designs Speakers Made in the USA

 

THere are way too many great amplifiers out there.
You should be able to find one on Ebay for a steal.
I have bought many amps in the last few months at fractional of the price which they normally go for.
Go old school buddy.!!!!
