Has anybody have this issue before?

My mid-bass speakers are at extreme low, no matter how loud i turn the **** only the tweets get louder. It used to bring the sound back to normal when i turn the volume **** up and down, but now it doesn't seem to have any effect. Place my ears close to the speakers and I can hear the music but it sounds like a tweeter no low end. I know I have to do more troubleshoot to figure out is my amp or my speaker or could it be wire connects is faulty but just wanna know if anybody had similar problem and save me time from doing the troubleshooting... hehehe

Check for any speaker wire that might be pinched, or cut. Make sure no speaker connections are touching the door.
Check the crossover for any damage, and each speaker individually (note, always use a capacitor to test a tweeter).
