Hello to all:

I need some advice if this will work or not i currently own the new 2010 Sony XAV-60 head unit and i want to add a rear back up camera i was thinking of going with the Audiovox CMOS2 beacuse i want to hide it in the tail gate handle on my 2009 Dodge Ram will it work

Im almost 100% that ANY generic back up camera will work because its a standard a/v plug(just one) on the back of the deck, and a wire to sense when you put it in reverse. Hope that helped..lol

But i have one question that is confusing me all to hell

On my pac radio harneess i have a Green Wire that is for reverse input
than on my radio i have a purple wire for the reverse in then on the camera it self it has another wire for reverse how do you hook all these up

 

If it were mine, I would leave the pac wire out and use headunit wire to reverse switch in shifter area, and the camera one I believe is just a power wire for when reverse is engaged, so it could go into that as well
