West New to this, am I getting it?

Ok so I've recently gotten an older but brand new kenwood head unit installed that I had sitting in the box in my 92 jetta. To no surprise the stock 1992 speakers were, well not to good. I didn't want to go all out with this system as it is mostly a winter car. I purchased some half decent 5.25" coaxial clarions for the doors and replaced the old 4" in the rear deck with some 6.5" JBL coaxials, leaving the stock 3.5" in dash. Like I said nothing special but I've wired that in and it meeds my needs in all areas except bass of course. So seeing as how this was a budget system I purchased online a box and amp combo consisting of a 12" hifonics HFI12D4 300 watt rms 600 watt max power DVC 4 ohm subwoofer in a sealed blaupunkt box. Now where I'm having a little trouble making my mind up is the amp. Im looking to spend no more then $125 (yea , I'm Cheap) and so far the best match I've found is a kenwood KAC-6104D which is a mono 300 watt rms at 2 ohm 600 watt max power which seems perfect to my limited understanding. What are your opinions? any budget conscious suggestions for my system? Like I said I am pretty happy with the speakers and am mostly wondering about the amp. Thanks in advance!

your heading in the right direction. you want something that'll do around 300rms (nothing more) @ 2 ohms.
