Hi. I have a 2006 Pontiac g6. I have no sound coming out my rspeakwrs. There's power to the radio and I had it quickly looked over and was told there was also power to the speakers. What would be the problem? I don't wanna spend a lot of money to fix something but it turns out there was something wrong entirely. I miss my radio and I want it back. There was no sound when I bought the car.

This recently happened to me, i was driving along listening to the radio then silence. I thought the radio station went dead but after switching stations NONE of them worked. It ended up being an exposed wire in my amp touhcing another that shorted it out and I have to replace the whole amp Hopefully you have a shop that will diagnose it for you. We have a local one here that charges like $25 to do it, I don't suggest car toys they charge like $60/hour like a mechanic.
