Connecting subwoofer correctly
Hello,
Im not very technical but I am trying to learn. I have a new DAB radio and it works well using to small loudspeaker. I want to connect an active Subwoofer I have:
Radio Sony CDX DAB 500U
SUbwoofer Alpine Swe 1000
Wire kit. (RCAs, Yellow battery cable with fuse, black ground cable, Blue-white cabel)
The pix shows what I mean. Is it safe to cut the blue-white cable or should I not?
The yellow battery cable is connected, the black gound cable is gounded and the RCAs are in place. Help much appreciated.Sony manual here talks about remote
Blue white from Subwoofer is not connected. So the active Sub is not starting. I have connected car battery (Yellow), RCA (left and Right) and Ground (black cable)
Should I cut the blue-white from Radio and connect from radio to Subwoofer? The wire to the right is from Sub and has a label on it saying remote
