Output Interference
Hey
I upgraded from stock to a very minimal system in my car.
I'm running a Sony Xplod CDX GT310 and some lower end JVC 6 1/2s.
When I turn on the engine I get a strange sound coming out of the right front speaker. It sounds like a really fast clicking sound. If I don't have an input (cd/aux/etc) there is no sound. If the engine isn't on, there is no noise. At first listen, it sounds like vibrating, but I've taken the speaker right out and it persists. My dad knows his stuff about this, and I asked him about it and he said it was likely some sort of interference from the engine firing. The problem is that he just can not hear the noise. My mum can't either. When my friends are present, they can hear it. This is bizarre because the sound that I get does not sound high enough that it should be out of the range of hearing for older people, yet this seems to be the case...
Anybody know of this problem?
thanks
