Unhappy Pioneer Deck dead?

So I was minding my own business, when the LCD screen went blank and volume went wayyy down and crackly on my DEH P7900BT.

I took it out to check the wiring, and everything looks good. I plugged it back in, and it seems to work minus the LCD screen and the crackly/low volume problem.

Anyone run into this before? Can I even get this fixed?

edit: It's two years old, I don't really drive it too hard, no smell of burning

i had a old deck that did somthing similar and they dident even look dirty till i took a tooth brush to them,,, but well if your volume and such is messed then i dont know what you should do....take it apart and look for shorts or blown devices...keep track of all the tiny screws....

hey no problem, another thing some time if you use your flip down alot, like taking it off an hiding it every time you park or if you change cd's everyten minutes the hole hinge mechanism wears out and the little mettal contacts touch and then wellthe deck is dooomed

well, might be doomed..... when the face plate is on the hinge but not cliped up jiggle it around and see if it has "play" then flip it up and wiggle it around and push the face plate in and see if your deck comes back to life and that will tell you there if there is a problem with the mechanism there,
