I wish you were close, I'd pull the amp and put it on my test bench. Sunfired brings up a good point about something being toasted from the gain increase. I'll still maintain that the amp was starved of power in the first place and when you bumped up the Bass Boost, it just magnified the problem, possibly causing damage. I wasn't thinking ( ) when I posted the dimming question, obviously if the amp is shutting down now you won't see the lights dim.... The amp shuts down before the electrical system gets a high load. You'll need to pull this amp and run it on a seperate system. Like what was suggested, a buddy that has a system you can connect your amp to would be ideal. That will confirm if the amp is toast or not. I still maintain upgrading the wiring to 4AWG. I think that was the root of the problem. 8AWG is a little too close for comfort, so with the 4AWG there would be no worries of starvation. Outside of it not getting clean power I can't see what else the problem would be
