Rockfordfosgate 3sixty.2 damaged my system - NO JOKE

Left home this morning to go to Home Depot to get supplies to finish my dash.

Listening to some Incubus track from - Morning View at around 55/80 - reference level is 70.

Shut the car down got my supplies...Left HD and started the car and back up. I began to release the clutch and (KSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH) Full Volume noise came out of my system. My Audison LRx2.4 and AlipnePdx.1000 went into thermal. I shut the car off for two minutes and the PDX.1000 didn't come back. The amp turned on fine but no signal from the 3sixty.2.

Music began playing out of my Focal K2Ps but to my surprise my tweeters now sound gritty.

I shut the system off. Made sure the RF output were unplugged - reset the 3sixty.2 and everything came back!. I went on with my errands and I didn't hear any more noise!.

Called RockfordFosgate and they basicaly said to bad about your gear -BUT WE'LL BE HAPPY TO REPLACE OR REPAIR YOUR PRODUCT!!!!!

I should of bought an AudioControl or Alpine!

F'N Pissed

Sorry to hear about that, I can't imagine how angry I would be in your place. Perhaps your car insurance can cover it?

Returned my system back to previous state. Everything functions but to what extent? Focal TN52 tweeters are surely damaged. Let's see how my insurance reacts when I tell them the news!

Your insurance will likely not help you - same as they wouldn't help you if you somehow broke a seat or burnt up a clutch.

Sorry to hear what happened. I have a friend who has gone through no less than five 360.2s.

I really liked my Alpine H700.
