Test # 2 I decided to give the 3sixty.2 anther go. Changing RCA's, B+ REM GND and use a old HU and my garage amp with aux is as a test. This time I used my ipod with 8mm to rca adapter. Didn't touch the gains at all. The signal light was on with no cliping.
2 minutes in (KSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH) Full Volume noise came out again this time for a second!

Spoke to Dan at Rockford this evening. They are sending me a new piece monday morning. Very nice gentleman and extreme sorry!

Avidedtr,

My name is Dan Hunter and I am in charge of Product Development at Rockford. I have reviewed this topic with our customer service dept. and they have offered you a new 3Sixty.2 under our warranty policy. I also see that you may have additional problems with your other equipment. Although I have not personally seen this happen, I would like to get some more details from you and help you correct the situation.

Rockford takes pride in engineering great products and I don't want this incident to tarnish your experience with Rockford Fosgate.

Seems like Rockford is going to look in to stepping up. Thats pretty strong.

I had a yellow top leak all over when it was properly mounted in the back of my truck about 7 years ago. I wrote them a letter (trying to sound reasonable) and they paid for all the materials (but not labor). It was still a check for just over $1000.

Now that is what I call standing up for your company - It would be so great to get everything replaced because who knows what it has done to my other components!

It happened again this morning - sitting at a stop sign! this time the sub amp wouldn't go into protect ( it sounded like an amplified wet farting sound) LOL. I have to physically shut down my car to reset the unit! It sounds like it's only happening after a long turn turn off period. Starting the car a few times after the initial start of my journey - it's fine!

Lets seen if it craps out tomorrow! That would suck!

What a pain. Those RF processors sure seem to be a lot of trouble. It seems everyone has problems with em. If it's not the bluetooth, then its the unit just shutting down or in your case, not quite shutting down.

Remove that unit from your system. Whatever hasn't been damaged yet may well be in the future.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Please keep us posted as to what RF deems to be the cause of this, as I have my second 360 just installed ( replaced by RF because of bluetooth problem ) This kind of thing scares the heck out of me. Good luck with your situation.
