No Scam. I am convinced you will get the stuff.
I really don't know about specifically the rli-8, I do know they had remaining stock for many models.

I am convinced if for whatever reason they end up not having it, you will get a full refund.

I would have no worries as SS has a very good reputation.

Mike is the owner BTW.

Audiopulse will be continuing business in the future, although they have not been making new products for a little while now due to the bankruptcy proceedings. Thilo went to the bankruptcy auction and bought back all the remaining parts and patents (with the exception of one), which he will use to get Audiopulse back on track.

Last I heard from Mike was that the immediate future is up in the air, but it sounds as if he will be continuing with Thilo and Christa as his OEM (given their close relationship in the past).

I know Mike is the owner I just got off the phone to him a bit ago.He just got a shipment in and he says all is good.Audiopulse is just slow coming out of the problems they had.He just got 100 units the other day(epic 8`s and not the RL-i8`s).They still have thing forsale and stuff.Stock is good on the Neo motors as well from what I hear. What I am told is order away just be kind to them as it is mad at Audiopulse so things are just slow to get on track again

Just about every manufacturer makes a shallow mount sub these days, I have only heard a couple besides the original (the Aliante which is still a bench mark in many areas) but I am mighty impressed at the SQ of the Pioneer product and it is fairly loud to boot(a 12" pair can make ~143 db with moderate power)

^^wow, that's pretty loud for a pair of shallow 12's! To the poster, have you considered going to a fibreglass box to save weight?

kicker shallow friggen hammer, pioneer not bad, both of them I have noticed don't play as low as their "conventional" counterparts, tend to fart on lower freqs. Small box requirements too (.33 sealed for the pioneer 12" I think).
