Sound Problems!
ok so im not to intelligent on things like car stereos and such, but i did manage to install a deck and 2 speakers myself. the only thing is during songs some parts will be at a lower sound than the rest of the song, to the point where u can barely hear it, like guitar solos n stuff, and sometimes the singing will sound almost as if its underwater. Does anyone know whats possibly goin to here? Because id really like oto get this fixed.

Actually sounds like you're not running in stereo. Maybe you hooked both speakers to the same channel? Most music program is monaural so you wouldn't notice it at first until there is a serious shift to the unhooked side. I've noticed this especially with Metallica songs. They like to put the vocals to the extreme left or right at times. Hope this helps.

ok well that could be im not sure tho the old stock deck was connected to 1 speaker spot i dunno if there were 2 speakers in there or just one (i never bothered to take it out i just disconnected it since it is just a slotted space under my dash) if this was hooked up to only one speaker to begin withand since i kinda just routed the 2 new speakers off the old speaker able would that be what ur talking about?

Sorry Jordan I'm not clear on what you're describing. There is one way to know for sure though. Turn the balance control on your new deck all the way to one side and then the other while listening to music. If one side is not hooked up then you will lose almost all sound when shifted to that side. Let us know what happens.
