stock ford pioneer deck specs???
stock ford pioneer deck specs???
so i removed the stocks 6x8's and the stock cd player in my ranger to put in 2 sets of jl vr-650cxi's and an alpine cde-9870 which has built in high pass filters...thinking i would improve the sound a little.
After i remove the stock deck i notice the label on it states it's made by pioneer with a model # of deh-2267zf.
Snooping around online has resulted in nada information on the specs of this deck.
The irony of the situation is that upon setting up the deck i find out that the hpf in the 9870 has only 3 or 4 preset frequencies, with the lowest being 80hz. i was hoping for more options...likely around 60 or so. As a result i find the system sounds better with the hpf filter off. Damnit. I was also thinking that since the stock deck is made by pioneer, it probably has specs similar to the 9870.
So, in a nutshell, i'm thinking that since i can't get 60hz (i don't want to install caps), and the specs of the stock deck are so close to the 9870, i may as well just put the damn stock deck back in.
BUT....first i need to confirm what the stock deck's specs are....anyone have any ideas?
