Too much amperage?

guys, silly question but when the amp is pooched, is the protect lamp supposed to be blue or red? the blue lamp is on all the time, but the amp seems to play still. i am suspecting that 1 channel of the RCA has fallen out from the head unit as its playing, but at 1/2 the volume now...

I wonder if mine is pooched too ..... it went early spring.... it wouldn't even turn on.. the little light would not go blue or red .... ive got a t3-500 though.

Sounds like it could be a bad amp, or a blown sub/speaker. Have you tested that? Or try hooking up a different speaker to it and see if it still goes into protection. The dealer you bought it from should be able to help you with warranty. If not contact Erikson Consumer in Montreal - they are the distributors for it if memory serves, they can help you with warranty and checking the amp.

You can also go to a good car audio shop and get them to check it and your install out - and fix it if need be.
