Twisted speaker wire? Fad or fab?

Twisted speaker wire? Fad or fab?
Does this stuff actually make a difference?
I need to run some speaker wire from the amp in the trunk into the doors.
At least one side of the car will have the power wire running down it, and run parallel to the speaker wires for about 10ft-ish.
Would twisted wire make any difference in rejecting any induced signal from the power wires that I would be able to hear?

Sadly, marketing BS. I will say that there are certainly better built cables out there, and for looks and build quality I will spend a bit more (it looks more professional) but to spend ridiculous amounts of money for cables that avoid a noise problem rarely found in a vehicle doesn't really make sense.

Twisted wire is better for RF and EMI rejection. However, this is typically not a problem with high-level signals like amplifier outputs.
Bottom line, if you have twisted use it. But I wouldn’t deep-six perfectly good and already-paid-for “regular” speaker wire for it.
