Upgrading subwoofer wire.

Rockford amps have 8AWG speaker connectors. If your sub can accept 8 AWG go for it....it will only cost $20 bucks or so and you'll feel good about it.

Heh..I guess I'm tryin to compensate or something, I'm running 4ga power wire from amp to sub as speaker wire

look at your tinsel leads ( sorry if my spelling sucks ) are the larger than
12ga ? probably not. 8 would really be overkill but your not going to cause any harm in doing it

I run 8 gauge for my sub...I dont think you would have to worry with a 250 watt set-up. 14 or 12 ga would be more than enough...
