So we're installing a Kinetik hc2400 this week in the van. The plan is to run 2 of them eventually, but its one for now.
So where is the best place to put it for now? Its being put in an extended minivan, over 16ft from the front battery to the amps. Alternator is currently a 125A HO unit. Will be running about 2k. Will be installing a DCpower 270A one shortly.
In the back, close to the amps, retain stock batt. up front?
In the front, only one battery, ditch the stock one(only a single 1/0 run though)
How will they differ?
The plan is to add at least one more run of 1/0 soon, I'm a little worried about voltage drop over that 16ft run in a single batt setup.
You opinion?
