Lets assume the amp is not faulty and there are no faults associated with the woofer

So how are the woofers wired, for 4 ohms or 1 ohm?
what is your system voltage (this is the do you have a digital multimeter question)?
has it always been like this or is this new?

ok today i took out the capacitor and now mah amp is direct connected to the car battery....however, its still doing the same thing....it shuts down and i m 200% sure that mah amp and woofers r gud and they dont have any fault.......again mah woofers r two 12s, 2ohm woofers and they r requierd total 600rms and mah amp is 800rms it should work....and ya i tried on three ground places in mah trunk and mah ground cable is 4g too and its realli small not even like 8 inches......mah amp still shuts down......
now here i come on wat mah amp is set to.... i only three options on the bak......GAIN, BASE, LPF AS TOM.F.1 said......i didnt put GAIN to full its like a quater less to full...same with BASE....and mah crossover (LPF) frequency set in the middle or u can say normal......to be honest with u i HAVE NO IDEA wat the heck this thing LPF does so i didnt really touch it and put it on normal........i did try it today like ful and half and nothing....but again same problem amp shuts down when some heavy BASE song comes up......mah amp is MONO so only mah woofers r attached to it........
and one more thing.....is that FUSE could be the problem which spilts cable between amp and car battery?? cuz its right around the car battery for protection as u guys know more than me so u know wat that fuse does......i donoo i could be wrong cuz i havnt tried it yet but for some reason i think that could be the problem cuz weneva some heavy BASE song comes up then amp tries to get more power from battery(as its direct connected to the battery now) and that FUSE CUT the power between amp and battery? i donooo i m jus talkin in the air ritenow lol.....so any suggestions? And ya TOM.F.1 my LPF is on normal and plz tell me wat it use for? THANKSSS

wow, did I miss something, it looks to me like you said you had 2 woofers @ 2 ohm, and your amp can only go as low as two ohms, I think you have this thing wired for 1 ohm.. I would run it at 4 ohm and lose a few rms, cuz your oviously making it go into protect.. which is making it overheat before you damage anything ?..

The amp and subs are compatible 100% from the specs on Future$hit and Alpine. Check your wiring. I assumed you installed the connections yourself. If you can't figure it out take the car back to future shop and pay them to check over your wiring!

You probably have wires touching somewhere! Or its a bad amp, or nuked subs! Do you have a deck or are you running from the factory radio? Turn your gain down and bass on the amp "OFF"- until you resolve the issue.

I'll bet it's the wiring!

lol no liv2ride....i meant to say that mah woofers r 600watts nominal power and max power handling is 1800watts.....and impedence is 2 ohms.....so it means each woofers is at 2ohms and both makes it at 4ohms rite? i hope u get it now :P and mah amp is MONO.....so it means it can only have woofers and it should give out better prformance than stereo amps....i hope u get it now lol...........

and avidedtr thats the last thing i would do that go to futureshop an get them check it for me...if i wanted to do that i would done that a long time agooo lol....but i wanna do it my self thats why i m asking u guys help here

and i have only two wires coming outta woofers which is + AND - ...... and i have only two connections in amp to connect tooo and its + and - too....so wat does that mean? its looks simple but is there any mystery behind it? since there are two woofers in box and i think there should be 4 wires coming outta woofers, 2 for each woofer....but there r only two wires coming out, 1 wire for each woofer?,...u guys know more than me....help me out guys.....

The reason there is only two wires is because it's wired in parallel One 4ohm sub + One 4 ohm sub = 2ohm load that your amp will see.

Obviously our help is not working - we have established it's not a amp and sub compatibility issue. Either it's an INSTALL issue or DOA of equip.

Did you turn your gain down and BEQ to 0.

Get your wiring looked over by a pro - sometimes all it takes is one little thing you overlooked.

From post #1 I thought he had 2 ohm subs, if that is correct he has a 4 ohm (series) or 1 ohm (parallel) circuit to the subs (my initial guess was his 1 ohm wiring was causing the amp to go into protect... I still think that's it).

It could be your battery voltage cant keep up and that is what I am asking about.... do your lights dim much when the bass hits (I assume you do not have projection headlights (HID))

John it's not an impedance load Future Shop states it's a " Impedance 2 Ohms ".
