woofer pop on power up

looking for some answers on why my woofers pop on power up. System is 2 months old brand new. just started poping today after a crap load of rain. checked all equipment nothing is wet. 600 mono PG gold pumping 2 pioneer 12s. Iam guessing check my ground first.

Thanks for the info. Changing tracks does not pop the woofers.
think I should ground the (-neg batt) direct to the frame of my windstar with batt cable?

IMO grounding to the frame does nothing if your amp isnt ground there also. the reason why it is supposed to is that there is alot less crap for the power to go threw(goop that manufacturers use instead of welds, shity welds, and many different peices of steel). the best thing to do for grounding is to ground right to your batt.
