WTT: my '06 S12L7 dual 2's for your 10/12 type-r dual 2's
anyone interested in a trade?
with the amount of power i have on tap, i am not going to use these to their full potential.
i don't plan on upgrading amps anytime soon so i want something that is a little more suited to my power level.
looking for a pair of 10's or 12's that can take 500w rms each daily. must come in a box...sealed or ported doesnt matter. would prefer type-r's but anything else will do as long as
A) will take the power
b) have an enclosure
c)can wire to a final load of 2 ohms mono
d) are worth equal value (maybe a little cash on my part)
will consider single subs too, depending on what they are
as for mine, they are 06 S12L7 D2, in a slot ported box thats about 4 cubes tuned somewhere between 34-38hz (not sure of the exact number on that, previous owner didnt know)
i am the second owner of them and they have never seen more than 500w rms each and were always powered with the same zx1000.1 (i bought the amp and subs as a combo)and set using a subsonic filter and crossed at about 70hz.
cosmetically, they aren't perfect. id say 7/10 for one and 8/10 for the other. mostly just scuff marks but mechanically they are both perfect. the magnets have the chrome bottom and still have the original sticker/protector film on them. from the back they are 10/10 cosmetic.
they were purchased by me on a local classifieds board and were bought from the original owner who got them from a local authorized dealer (who according to him, also built the box)
they are installed in my trailblazer and ready for a listening test by anyone who is interested in a swap.
