15" L7 box help

I just bought a 15" L7 dual 4 ohm and I want to make a box. I found a really good site, but I have trouble figuring all this stuff out. I listen to rap mostly. Do I want 35 Hertz? Lower the Hertz the deeper the bass right? I have an Ultimate T3 500D powering the unit at 900 rms/1800 max @ 2 ohm. Any dimensions for a box would be helpful. Ported or sealed? Thanks so much guys.

cav2nv420, do you have one (or more) on these? It shows one in your picture. How does it sound and what are you powering it with?

Talking

I have a friend thats running 2 15l5 at the recommended box for l7 and it hammers. 4.5 cuft and about .45 of slot port on each end in a 93 extended cab pickup. Music wise sounds awesome and still goes incredibly loud.

is that 4.5 per sub or both? thats too small but will still sound good but if you want spl go 5 cb.ft. per driver, if you want more of music go smaller tuned higher, but if you are using L&'s they are not a great music style sub, they just like to be pounded on hard and play nice and low

I think I'd say the opposite - for SPL I'd go smaller tuned higher, and for music bigger and lower

I am hearing conflicting answers. Does lower hertz = deeper bass and lower SQ or vice versa?
