Alpine type x Experiences?? what box type

I have a 12 type x built in the spec box except tuned to an even 40 HZ. It POUNDS real nice from 25HZ up to about 60HZ but it starts to seriously struggle around 80 hz. try sealed and could you give me sum feed back. Thanks man.

So alpine recommends, to do sealed between .5-1.0 cubic feet. I plan on building this thing bulletproof and filling with some polyfill (that fluffy ) What do you think, .75 cubic feet??

i was running 2 10" alpine type-x in ported box... 2.5cubic feet...
sounded great... then i made a sealed box for just 1 type-x and it sounded OK... and then i made 1 more ported box for my type-X and it sounded Great.. i'd go ported...
