so i'm building my sub into the floor (already made a fiberglass mold and starting on the sides tonight), but now I can't decide where to put the amps. Its going in an Ion Sedan. I was thinking of building up the floor and setting them into that, but then the floor will be to thick. I was even thinking of just placing them near the back and having a thicker floor at that point. I also thought of a wall near the seats, but with the shape of the trunk opening it would have to be in 2 pieces... I'd like to avoid fiberglassing the amp racks... any advice? PS. behind the tail lights is to narrow for the length of the amps

what about underneath the rear deck where the speakers are. you could hang them. what amps are they?

 

they are both alpines, MRd1005 and a MRF345
