Exclamation Backseat Box!!

I'm building a box in my backseat, and im either going to put an amp and 2 subs on the front, and 2 on the top, or run just the amp and ports on the front of the box with the subs on the top.

I would love to have all 4 on the front, but it really wouldnt work because of the backseat support and the tranny hump.

i dont have that much 0 gauge, and a need 2 runs, so mounting on the front of the box is needed for the amp.

and for the ports, should i run two (square) side by side in between each pair.

or

should i run them on the front face of the box, one big one in the middle with the amp behind the passenger seat, and the subs on the top?

i dont know, what do you think would sound the best? and also look somewhat decent...

fire 2 up and 2 forward. fire the port(s) up wards as well, into the ceiling/back window.

damn, i just decided on putting the amp behind the passengers seat, more room for me, with a very large port going between the 2 front seats and 4 subs on the top in a square, closer than 3 inches apart to couple to cones. whattayathink?

i dunno, try it.

i think the port will have to load tho, meaning it has to fire into a surface close by. if u put it between the seats you are loading into the dash, which is kinda far away. try it, let us know.

I've never heard of the theory of loading Yuli, could you get me a link to something about it? I know the port relies on a bit of back pressure, but I thought that had more to do with the cone vibration.

From what my theory tells me it's cone vibration creating a 'piston' of air in the port. Is the reflection needed for proper wave compression or something similar?

edit: mistake that'd make me look like a nub.
