Backseat Enclosure Design

Okay, so i'm buying two 2ohm 15 Kicker L7's for my Dakota Club Cab... i want to stand these subs up facing the back of my head, i was just wondering whether i should be using a ported box or not? i am going for the loud deep bass so i know thats what to do in a situation like mine but, will it sound good? also not to do with the title of this thread but will two Rockford Fosgate T1500-1bd amps work good for these subs? thank alot

Definetly build a ported box for those subs. As for the amps i say they might be a bit much for daily, but burping/comps they will hold up fine at 1ohm

awesome, thanks alot im pumped to buillt it, what size would you recommend i build the box... im looking for somewhere around 10-12 cubes

Thats about right kicker calls for min. 3cu.ft. per sub to max 6cu.ft. per it all depends on if you plan on competing, or just listnening or both.

I wouldnt go so big then 4cu.ft. per tuned to 35 would be good.
